The Sun City West Republican Club will hold it’s May meeting on Saturday May 2nd at the Sun City West Foundations building (Quail Room) 14465 R H Johnson Blvd. Sun City West Arizona.
The doors open at 8:00 AM with coffee and donuts being served and the General Meeting begins at 8:30 AM and ends at 10:00 AM.
There is a $2.00 admission to help pay for the cost of the room.
The main speaker for the May meeting will be Rae Lynne Chornenky.
Rae is the past President of the National Federation of Republican Women. She is a native of Phoenix and a proud graduate of ASU. Rae graduated Magna Cum Laude and then received a Master’s Degree in Counseling and a Juris Doctorate. She has practiced law for 30 years in Arizona serving as a Superior Court Judge and after retiring from that position serving as a legislative attorney for an Arizona Cabinet-Level agency, drafting extensive legislation. She served as adjunct professor of constitutional law, advised political and non-profit organizations and is an active defense attorney.
Chornenky was named as one of the most influential women by the Junior League of Phoenix and was elected as a fellow in the ASU Leadership Policy Program. Rae has been elected and served on all levels of leadership in the State Republican Party. As stated above, she is very active in the National Federation of Republican Women culminating in her election as National President of that organization.
Mrs. Chornenky is married to O. Joseph Chornenky and both are highly honored attorneys in the Phoenix community.
She will make her presentation and then open the floor to questions.
